Over the past 4 months or so I have been simplifying my life. I stepped away from many aspects of teaching Songwriting. I felt as if I was becoming trapped inside something I had built myself. In the past week I found myself missing making YouTube videos and connecting with my own community of songwriters. I decided I want to start making YouTube videos again and leading online workshops…on my own terms. I don't want it to be another job. I already have a day job, and I love writing and recording my songs. I want to be able to not only do my own music, but also continue to share what I know about songwriting with others. I have 5 more songs to go before my next album is done an ready to drop as well. I feel like I am leaning into everything I am doing with more clarity, and more excitement than I have had in a long time. I am excited to connect with people I have not seen for awhile, and meet new songwriters as well. I can't wait for everyone to hear my new album.
